Great New Fundraising Idea of the Day

Rick Santorum is about to realize untold millions with this fresh new idea from his campaign: the Rick Santorum Barf Bag. Reasonably priced, this handy item will keep God, friends and loved ones always aware that much of the  founding ideas and people of your country just makes you sick. Never go into a public building, attend a non-religious gathering or certainly enter a university without one of these.  You wouldn’t want to muss your vestments, special religious underwear, burqa or chastity belt. Available in extra large for hugely fat couch potato voters who aren’t that used to going anywhere.

Cab Calloway and Me

Here are some clips from the American Masters doc by Gail Levin: Cab Calloway Sketches. This will run nationally Monday night at 10 Eastern. I am one of the sketchers. Dig these crazy clips, man. My fave is Cab himself giving us a guided tour through swing era Harlem, complete with an authentic illustrated map, now deftly animated by Asterisk Studios. Enjoy.

First, above, is yours truly drawing Cab to Minnie the Moocher, who then animates and dances with Alvin Ailey’s amazing Matthew Rushing,. Thanks again to Asterisk

Cab himself on the the golden age of Harlem (or at least one of them):

A fun story by members of the Blues Brothers band about Cab during the making of the Blues Brothers movie:

Romney’s Dog: The Last Word

I have obtained the previously lost footage of the Romney Dog’s last interview. Hear his side! For washingtonspectator.org

Here’s something I saw on a website today.  It’s nice that they have a sense of humor.
