Soon he found himself looking for a home in the Super Tuesday states along with his similarly-hated friend Mitt Romney. Despicable Duck of the Day

In Newt’s overheated lingo people are not wrong or objectionable, but pathetic and despicable. Quite often they are “the most pathetic or despicable in the history of the planet”. The carpet-bombing of Newt in Florida by Romney’s super pac shows how the system works. And while Newt’s complaint is really about the post-Citizens United world, he will keep that shady and target Romney alone for criticism. In any case we can see where poor Daffy at last gets it right.

This image by guest artist Newt Gingrich, revealing Mitt Romney’s anti-Jewish-senior past. Newt Gingrich reaches new lows in the Florida-race-to-the-bottom-primary almost by the minute. In yesterday’s Washington Post
we saw the signs of a right-wing lunatic fringe gone mainstream in which a Gingrich campaign stop had the feeling of a hate group rally. Today there is the robo call to elderly Jews telling them that Romney once voted against a meals bill which would have forced seniors to forgo kosher food (not true).
As governor of Massachusetts, Mitt Romney vetoed a bill paying for kosher food for our seniors in nursing homes. Holocaust survivors, who for the first time, were forced to eat non-kosher, because Romney thought $5 was too much to pay for our grandparents to eat kosher. Where is Mitt Romney’s compassion for our seniors? Tuesday you can end Mitt Romney’s hypocrisy on religious freedom, with a vote for Newt Gingrich. Paid for by Newt 2012.
In a flash, for the votes of some old people Newt has become the tribune of compassion. Forget that, given half the chance, all meals for all needy people would be thrown into the Intracoastal waterway along with Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and whatever is left. As a piece of carrot atop this gefilte fish, Newt’s text refers to “our grandmothers”. Newt Ginsberg! Who knew?? . And adding the phrase “holocaust survivor” elevates the cause, casting Mitt Romney as the perfect symbol of all that is evil. As opposed to Newt.
Suicidal Person of the Day

In last night’s debate there were too many ironies to note, let alone draw. Here are a couple I was able to jot down before passing out from BS overdose. Willard “Mitt” Romney, the leader, in one day saw it revealed that he paid 15% income tax last year, that he has major amounts of money parked in the Cayman Islands and that he didn’t actually win the Iowa caucuses after all. Gingrich was moving ahead in the polls in South Carolina by virtue of debate belligerency and racially-coded campaign slogans, only to have his ex-wife decide to go public with accusations of Newt’s desire for an open marriage. Thus the “conservative” candidate arrived to face the conservative debate crowd last night. Attempting to make a virtue out of a necessity he unloaded on the moderator for bringing up the trash news topic of the day. Irony on top of irony was the memory of Gingrich choreographing the sex scandal of Bill Clinton 15 years ago. So what was his strategy last night? Blame the media, blame everybody. Then in rising red foams of victimhood Gingrich went further. It was the media and their liberal defense of Obama that was behind the whole thing. This makes you wonder why anyone showed up last night, at least to do anything other than burn the CNN camera equipment. So here was Newt’s suicide act, in dying color. Flaming out to divert attention to the “media”, as if his baggage now is not getting bigger. Whatever happens in South Carolina, he will find that there are states without a confederate flag on the capitol building. And that they will like their political theater without a twist of spleen.
